Finding Common Ground on Abortion

Robyn leads with compassion and has listened intently to the stories of those faced with unplanned pregnancies. She does not advocate for a total ban on abortion and understands the many challenges including rape, incest, and dangers to the mother’s life. Robyn respects the decision made on abortion two years ago when Kansans voted to keep this issue protected in the constitution. This decision limits what the state legislature can do.

Moving forward, Robyn is focused on legislation that provides resources and services for vulnerable women when they are faced with these difficult decisions. Access to birth control, IVF options, and tax credits for adoption are all a part of this discussion. She believes that, no matter where you stand on the spectrum of abortion opinions, we can start with where we agree and work together to find compassionate solutions.
