About Robyn
Robyn Essex has served our community tirelessly as a city councilwoman, planning commissioner, emergency response team member, Rotarian, and Sunday school teacher. She has participated in the Olathe Civic Academy, Olathe Public Schools Citizen Academy, and Eisenhower Leadership Series, in addition to mentoring middle- and high-school students.
Robyn is a graduate of Olathe’s MidAmerica Nazarene University. She and her husband, Steve, who is a middle school teacher, have three sons who attended Olathe and Blue Valley Schools. Robyn has called Olathe home for nearly 40 years.
